Luis Enrique has emerged as shock favourite to replace Antonio Conte, as the manager seems to be in spout with Chelsea officials.
Antonio Conte revolutionised not only Chelsea, but also the Premier League when he joined Chelsea at the beginning of the 2016/17 campaign. However, suffering a bad run of form with Chelsea, he seems to be falling out with the Chelsea board.

It was the humiliating 3-0 defeat away to London rivals Arsenal that saw Antonio Conte deploy his infamous three at the back formation. The rest, well the rest is history as he went on to dominate English football, and forced many other managers to match the system.

He failed to win the FA Cup in his first season despite reaching the final, and also the Community Shield. Having never won a domestic cup, his eyes must have lit up when his side reached the semi-final of the Carabao Cup, but his side were overturned again by Arsenal.

With Diego Costa and David Luiz both suffering fall-outs with Antonio Conte, the Chelsea board have been forced to reevaluate his position at the club. Not to panic though, because they have signaled Luis Enrique as a potential successor, according to Mail Online.

Luis Enrique is thought to be seen as favourite over Massimiliano Allegri and Diego Simeone, because Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is not willing to discuss talks with a contracted manager.

For Luis Enrique, this will be the first time he’s managed since leaving Barcelona last season. Luis Enrique managed Barcelona for 3 years, in a successful stint. He won 3 Copa del Rey trophies, 2 La Liga titles and the coveted Champions League trophy, just to name a few, during his time with the Catalans.

Do you think contacting Luis Enrique is the right decision from Roman Abramovich, or should he compete with Juventus and Atletico Madrid to deter either Max Allegri or Diego Simeone from their contract?
