La Liga giants Real Madrid are reportedly seriously considering a move for Manchester City attacker Raheem Sterling.
Real president Florentino Perez is looking to overhaul his squad after a season of disappointment so far, with boss Zineddine Zidane also being tipped to leave at the end of the season.
Harry Kane, Mauro Icardi, Paulo Dybala and Eden Hazard have all tipped as potential options to move to the Bernabeu, while Atletico frontman Antoine Griezmann has also emerged as a surprise option.
However, according to a Bleacher Report source, Real have been monitoring Sterling’s impressive form this season and are considering a move for the England star.
The source said: “Nothing is imminent, but Sterling is in Madrid’s thoughts. It’s no wonder City are trying to secure his long-term future. He is in a very good moment.”
If the reports are true then Sterling could become the latest Premier League star to join Real, following in the footsteps of Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale, Luka Modric, Steve McManaman and Michael Owen in recent years.
