Arsenal have completed a deal to sign promising South African youngster Jayden Adetiba, who is aged only nine.
The Independent reports that the talented youngster had a five-week trial with the Gunners whilst in his native South Africa.
The player’s father has since taken to Twitter to show his son signing the deal to join the north London giants.
The nine-year-old had reportedly caught the eye whilst playing for local team SuperSport United Soccer School.
Despite being mainly brought up in South Africa, Adetiba is also said to have spent some time living in the United Kingdom.
Adetiba, who is reportedly an Arsenal fan, will be the latest name to join the club’s strong academy structure and could well be one to look out for in future years.
