Relax Nigerians, the Super Eagles will have a new manager in ‘August’.

As if to prove us wrong that Amaju Pinnick would be taking charge of the Super Eagles anytime soon, the chairman of the NFF technical committee has told the media that a new manager will be announced this ‘month’.

“We are going to have a coach this month. There is no doubt about that. Definitely, that will be done plenty of weeks before our (2017 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying) match against Tanzania,” Chris Green reportedly told the media.

Please note that the honorable chairman said ‘this month’. And by this month, he technically meant August. So, no worries if they fail to name a new manager this month. He could well be referring to August 2017 or 2020. The most important thing is that they eventually do.

Finally, we have to say that we are a bit disappointed Mr Amaju Pinnick does not intend to put to use the valuable experience he gathered from meeting Arsene Wenger, Manuel Pelligrinni and Gianni Infantino. Without a doubt, he would have led us to the World Cup.
