Let’s all pretend we didn’t see this coming after the NFF technical committee ‘anointed’ Mr Rohr and then spent hours taking pictures with him. Let’s pretend we didn’t know from that point on, it was only a matter of time before he would be officially appointed and confirmed as the new Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.
Let’s pretend this is news to us.
BREAKING: Mr. Gernot Rohr signs two-year contract to work with the NFF as Technical Adviser of the Super Eagles.
— The NFF (@thenff) August 9, 2016
In case you don’t know who he is, we already did some introduction here.
His main job is to ensure that Nigeria secures qualification to the 2018 World Cup that would take place in Russia. And in the event that we don’t, his new job would be to play the ‘fall guy’.
If the NFF fail to make this clear to the Oyinbo man, then expect more Youtube videos and name calling.
