Bravo, Ramsey, Batshuayi and the others in the ‘other’ PFA XI

Goalkeeper – Claudio Bravo (Manchester City)

So, Pep Guardiola did his oversabi, bought a man he called a goalkeeper by the name of Claudio Bravo to come replace a proper goalkeeper-Joe Hart. To be fair, Bravo is anything else but a goalkeeper. The only thing strikers need to do is to hit target and they will score, Bravo can’t even save a word document. For Willy Caballero keep a goalkeeper on the bench, it can’t be worse than that.

RB – Javier Manquillo (Sunderland)

Once on the books of Atlethico Madrid and Liverpool, Manquillo has contributed little or nothing as Sunderland continues to play like they are bent on spending some time in the championship.

CB – John Stones (Manchester City)

Bought for all of 50 million pounds that should have been more useful to treat Vincent Kompany injuries, Stones has been at the heart of many of Manchester City comedic defending.

CB – Patrick Djiloboji (Sunderland)

Bought from Chelsea where someone must have signed him before knowing anything about him, Djiloboji has not covered himself in glory at Sunderland.

LB – Arthur Masuaku (West Hamm)

Joined West Hamm from Olympiakos in the summer, he has found his first season in the Premier League difficult and has not been able to get into the team ahead of Aaron Creswell

DM – Jack Rodwell (Sunderland)

Since leaving Everton to join Manchester City, Rodwell career has only gone one path – downwards. He has been like the Jonah in Sunderland’s ship as they have only won once when he has started this season.

CM – Aaron Ramsey (Arsenal)

After a brilliant performance at the Euros, Ramsey has had a poor season at Arsenal. Though he has been injured in spells, even when he has played he has been a good representation of Arsenal’s poor season. No goal in his 16 appearances so far.

CM – Moussa Sissoko (Tottenham)

Tottenham will be wishing they did not pull off the coup that made Sissoko join them instead of Everton. Signed for 30 million pounds, Sissoko has represented a total waste of money that should have been invested in building toilets at their new stadium. No goal in 21 appearances.

RWF – Riyad Mahrez (Leicester)

The star of last season, Riyad Mahrez has produced nothing near the amazing performances that helped Leicester shock the World by winning the league title last year. He has scored just five goals so far with 8 matches left, a far cry from his 17 league goals last season.

LWF – Jordan Ibe (Bournemouth)

Lots of promise while at Liverpool, he was expected to finally fufill potentials at Bournemouth. He has no league goal in 22 appearances. Once courted by Nigeria to play for the Super Eagles but based on his performances this season, he should not even play for Sao Tome and Principe.

CF – Mitchy Batshuayi (Chelsea)

So far, Mitchy Batshuayi represents pouring 33 million pounds into the lagoon. 17 appearances and a solitary league goal is all Batshuayi has to show. Even with Diego Costa’s bad form since his head got turned by Chinese money, Batshuayi still cannot get a regular spot in the team.

Substitutes; Loris Karius (Liverpool), Bartosz Kapustka (Leicester City), Vincent Jansen (Tottenham), Steven Pienaar (Sunderland), Borja Baston (Swansea). Gianelli Imbulla (Stoke City), Ragnar Klavan (Liverpool)
